Zoom-Worldle is a geography game for the web. It works on mobile, though a larger screen makes the map easier to explore.
Zoom mode: Each round starts with the world map zoomed out. It pans for five seconds, then gradually zooms toward a highlighted country. Type the first few letters, choose a suggestion with the arrow keys, and press Return. Every country starts at 20 points; faster answers score more, while a wrong guess costs 3 points. Solve during the opening pan and the unused whole seconds are banked for later rounds.
Click mode: The game gives you a country name and you find it on the map. You may pan and zoom while searching.
If you get stuck, Skip returns the country for another attempt later. Reveal shows the answer for no points. Common alternative country names and abbreviations are supported.
After each country, a fact card compares its area, population, GDP, and GDP per capita with the rest of the world. Use Start w/o facts for an uninterrupted run. You can also build games around those statistics—for example, the ten richest countries played in population order.
When the game ends, review missed countries through a Cinematic Tour or Free Roam map. There are no accounts or server-side saves: settings and personal bests stay in your browser, and Share lets you send or copy your result.
